Previously, it was shared how freedom is being experienced through confession to fellow humans with parents as a case study.
Consider this: “If you then, who are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give good things to those who ask him?”
(Matthew 7:11)
This is arguably the singular people many stay away from God: guilt.
From the days of Adam, sin has always caused people to hide from God and even deny His existence which their heart and senses know full well that He is everywhere.
Truth is, this is the first step to freedom in life during our short time in this world. Until we confess our sins to God, we cheat ourselves and spend our days wallowing in bondage even though it may not seem or look like.
“He who covers his sins will not prosper, But whoever confesses and forsakes them will have mercy.”
(Prov. 28:13)
Why do we judge God with our limited understanding? Why do we act as if our sins affect God? Our sins, even our good works, are of NO effect to God only fellow humans
(Job 35:6-8)
The fact that this God has sent His only Son to die for our sins nullifies every charge of guilt. God forgives and it is not about us. It is about The Son whom He dearly loves that became sin for us.
When we refuse to confess our sins to God, we are thinking ourselves more important than we are and need a heavy dose of reality. We are really not THAT important.
There is a Red that turns black into white.
The blacker the sin, the more effective the blood, the whiter the final result, the more miraculous, the more amazing the grace.
Don’t be surprised that some who you put off as being too dogmatic and standing firmly for Christ whether by life or death have their past so black, nothing can be read of it.
“…Because her many sins have been forgiven, she has loved much. But he who has been forgiven little loves little”
(Luke 7:47)
It is radical, unbelievable, AMAZING GRACE!

Do you tell yourself you have no sin to confess to God? You convince yourself you are good, helpful to others, nice and respectful? Where to begin with you?
“If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us”
Liar Friend, you deceive no one but you but there is STILL hope for you:
“If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.”
