CHRISTIAN LIVING

Behold

by

#BEHOLD!

He is coming back for the world to see. This is no historical facade. The entire hope and foundation of Christianity lies on the fact that Jesus is risen! The Holy Spirit showed up and showed out in raising Christ from the dead. That is divine synergy at its finest. The Holy Spirit is the POWER of the resurrection of Christ.

Christian, this is why we rejoice. This is why we live. We are strangers and pilgrims in this world. We are dead in this world because we have eternal life coming our way.

“Our hope in Christ is not in this world. If your hope in Christ is for this world alone, you are of all men most to be pitied and most miserable!”

(1 Corinthians 15:19)

Why do you rejoice on this day? What is your excitement for? Is it that Jesus rose from the dead and that seems cool and nice to hear or is it because He is alive, had forever defeated death, now holds the key to hell, is coming back to judge the world and because you are hidden in Him, you will never die?

This is eternal life. This is our rejoicing. We can die in peace from this painful, fleeting, anticlimactic world because then we will really live. Oh what glorious day it will be when we close our eyes of faith from this world and behold him face to face.

Victorious Day when our faith finally becomes sight and we can truly behold the risen Lamb.

Dear unrepentant sinner, how much longer? I plead with you that there is no other life you should embark on than eternal life. This gift is free – this gift of salvation. This is why Christians all over the world rejoice today – That we have a hope and a future, that we have an expected end that culminates not in this life but in our resurrection from the dead.

Oh Lord. Thank You! Joy joy joy
